The opportunity

PC Walls has a large pipeline of construction projects in Perth and the South West, and we are looking for high-performing Trades and Labourers to join a family-orientated workplace with a strong safety culture.

Working with major land developers, you will be part of an engaged team that delivers walls with a difference.  Develop your skills and learn new skills in a big enough company to secure challenging projects and small enough so all employees feel rewarded and part of a good crew.

Due to new projects coming online in June, we are seeking experienced Trades & Labourers for construction projects in Perth and the South West.

 About you

  • You will have a passion for your Trade with experience or an interest in building noise walls. 
  • You will have your own reliable transport, a valid driver’s licence for a manual vehicle and a construction white card.
  • You will be a team player with the flexibility to assist in other areas if required.
  • You can provide outstanding work and are keen to foster a safe working environment.

Opportunity 1 | Formwork Carpenter

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar type of work.
  • Must be able to prepare reinforcement and shuttering using pans and ply.
  • Hold approved tilt up ticket.
  • Needs to understand design drawings for reinforcement and set out.
  • Must have own essential tools for formwork.
  • The role involves working with a small site team installing precast footings and in-situ footings and walls.

Opportunity 2 | Precast Concreter/Labourer

  • Minimum 3 years experience in precast production.
  • Forklift and approved tilt up ticket needed.
  • Needs to understand and set up formwork system, quantify and manage materials, operate a forklift, set up formwork system and pour and finish concrete to the required standard consistently.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate deliveries to and from the site, care for company assets in the yard, and maintain the work area safely and tidily.
  • The role involves working with a small team casting precast footings, piers, and wall panels. Site work assisting with wall installation and finishing will also be required.

Opportunity 3 | Concreting Apprentice

  • Demonstrated prior experience in construction type work.
  • Interest in undertaking training for a certificate in concrete construction
  • Desire to learn and grow working experience and qualifications.
  • With some site work to assist in-wall installation and finishing.
